DESCRIPTION:

The Ebro is the largest river on the Iberian Peninsula, flowing into the Mediterranean Sea. Its delta is unique and rich in biodiversity. It is a magnet for a huge population of birds and, of course, fish. The mouth of any river is always a source of food for peaceful fish, which in turn serve as a magnet for many predatory species. Sea bass and even chub inhabit the riverbed several kilometers before it flows into the sea. Bluefish are found at the mouth of the river, and outside, near the mouth, there is a zone of activity for leerfish (palometon in Spanish), which local enthusiastic anglers compare to the iconic tropical giant trevally.

During the summer season, a lot of pelagic predators come - tuna, mahi-mahi and bacoreta (little tuna, bonito, bonito).

SEASONALITY:

The best time for pelagic predators is from April to August.

PRICE INCLUDES:

Boat rental, captain's salary, equipment rental.

DOES NOT INCLUDE:

Transfer, accommodation, fuel (normally about 50 euros for 2 days).

FISHING METHODS:

This is mainly casting with wobblers, poppers, sticks, and metal jigs. Trolling and catching very large tuna with live bait and baited with cut-up small fish are also possible.
